Itineraries
Day 1
Arrive to José Martí International Airport
Upon arrival at the José Martí International Airport, personal attendants will provide arriving passengers with
VIP meet and greet service.
Check in at the Hotel/Rental House
Meeting and orientation with guides and leaders.
Panoramic journey around the city of Havana
A bilingual guide will pick you up at your hotel or rental house in a vintage car (Chevrolet, Ford or Buick). The Panoramic journey begins from the Pier (Malecón Habanero) and continues through the Bay of Havana tunnel. The photo trip continues toward the Capitol, Central Park, sidewalks of the Louvre and Grand Theater of Havana. We will make a brief stop at the Capitol then go to Revolution Square which is in close proximity to the Latin American Baseball Stadium. Journey to the the University of Havana, Alma Mater to many Cubans, The Ramp (la Rampa) Heladería Coppelia, Cinema Yara, Hotel Free Havana (Habana Libre) and the Havana Pier (Malecón Habanero).
Lunch at “La Bodeguita del Medio”
This restaurant has traditional culinary plates. The history of the restaurant is displayed on its walls. It is located on Empedrado Street No. 207 e/ Cuba and San Ignacio.
Evening
Dinner at “El Fígaro”
This cuisine pays tribute to the lauded Cuban chef Gilberto Smith. His grandson Gilberto Smith tagged along with his grandfather as a young apprentice to events that celebrated his Grandfather’s culinary achievements. Today, the passion of his legacy continues to burn at “El Fígaro Restaurant”. It is located on Aguiar Street no. 18 and Avenue de las Misiones, Callejón de los Peluqueros, Old Havana.

We will tour the modern areas in Havana. The journey through the modern parts of the city (quarters of Central Havana, Preserve and Miramar) with stops at the most historic sites. This includes the National Capitol and old Presidential Palace, The Revolution Plaza, University of Havana and the National Hotel of Cuba. Visits to the museums of interests: Museum Napoleónico, Museum of the Dance, Museum of Ornamental Arts, Brief José Martí and Columbus Cemetery.
Lunch at Restaurant “Café Laurent”
Located at M Street # 257 e/ 19 & 17 in the neighborhood of Vedado. The restaurant offers fusion seafood cuisine to delight your taste. Also enjoy the beautiful views of the city of Havana which are at your feet.
Travel to the Havana coast and visit the national aquarium. The entire Havana coast will be guided by a bilingual person who will point out the unique landscape and architecture.
Visit the National Aquarium of Cuba to know and understand the Cuban marine world with dolphin shows at 1:30 pm or 7:00 pm. Lunch or dinner at the restaurant Great Blue Whale.
Day 3

Special colonial journey in horse drawn XIX Century carriage . Visits to the Museum of the City, formerly Palace of the General Captains. Travel by foot on the main streets and squares to the Historical Center; Square of Weapons, San Francisco Plaza, Old Square of the Cathedral). Walk by the Curtain of Valdés and the “Maestranza” of Artillery.

The ceremony of the gunshot is unique as explained by our guide. Two famous historical sites of the capital of Cuba are the Castle of The Three Kings of the Muzzle and The Strength of San Carlos. These sights dominate the fascinating views of the Bay of Havana. The Cabin Guard, every night at 9:00 o’clock, gets dressed in their elegant uniforms for the Ceremony of the Gunshot, the same as it happened three centuries ago when the Englishmen gave the scream of Silence (toque de queda) to announce the closing of the walls in the city. An ideal atmosphere to take us back to Havana of the XVIII century. Continue to San Carlos of The Cabin (San Carlos de la Cabaña). This visit includes the museum of armaments and examples of the fortification at the site. Enjoy the legendary ceremony of the gunshot of 9:00 o’clock p.m.

The next stop will be to visit the museums and houses of more famous Cuban artists. The shops and the mythical religious articles are produced by local Cuban artists the same as they have done for centuries. The surprising coalition of all these elements of unique art in thematic and technical use can be witnessed on this tour. We will visit the National Museum of fine arts, the Bishop Street Gallery, the Engraving Shop in the Alley of the Jet (callejón de Hamel), the Gallery is a Large house and the Center of Development of Visual Arts in the Old Square. The Shop of Manufactured paper, and Visits to Carmen’s House Montilla and to Eduardo’s Roca Shop are also included. View a handmade craft from several Cuban tradesmen that reflect the deep roots of the Cuban culture. Also visit the store OMI OÑÍ, specializing in religious articles and souvenirs. This company Manufactures and sells for Yabo which is a brand in Cuba.
Lunch at “Café Cristal”
Totally new, located in the “Cotorro” neighborhood and on the way to the international airport José Martí “Café Cristal” is an excellent stop for lunch. This “farm to table” restaurant is visited by many famous Cuban singers and authors who admire its farm fresh food, presentation and its exceptional local drinks. Located in Carretera Central e/ 18 and 16, Cotorro. Transfer to José Martí International Airport
Return flight to Miami International Airport
